Stamped & Decorative Concrete

Concrete that reads as wood, slate, or stone

Textured, colored, and hand-tooled concrete for patios and porches that hold up like a slab and look like something else entirely.

The process

Pattern, color, and tooling — before the sealer goes down

Stamped concrete is poured and finished like any slab, then textured while the surface is still workable: a pattern is pressed in, color is worked into the surface, and detail lines are hand-tooled before the concrete cures. Wood-plank is the pattern we get asked for most — individual boards, grain texture, and staggered joints that read as real lumber.

Slate and stone patterns follow the same process with a different stamp mat and color base, shown here on a patio built alongside a matching retaining wall.
